    Anchor is a set up of one or more heavy pieces of equipment that is set up in a way that is provides support of the climber.

Approach is the walkway or route that begins the climb. You start out slow and work your way up to moving a little faster as you go.

Ar?te is the outside corner of a rock.

Back clipping this is a very costly mistake that can happen while doing lead climbing, the belay rope into the quick draw in the incorrect way may cause the rope to be unclipped during fall.

Bail to stop a climb in the middle.

Barn Door this is swinging back and forth on the rock

Belay this protects the climber from falling by using a rope and an anchor.

Choss is rotted or broken rocks

Edge is the thin layer of rock where you place your feet as you climb

Multi Pitch climbing these are routes that are too lengthy for a single belay rope.

Open Book is the inside angle of the rock where you can put your feet or hands

Peel means to fall
