Now you want to go rock climbing but you need the proper shoes, but you don?t know what type to get. Here are a few pointers on what you should look for when buying rock-climbing shoes.

The soles of the shoes should be rubber and will stick to anything they have to be a non-slip rubber sole. Very important in rock climbing because you need as much traction as you can get. The rand is just as important, the rand is the rubber above the sole and it goes around the shoes. This is important as well, because when you climb and insert your foot into the slot of a rock to climb it, the rubber will protect the feet.

The tongue and the laces must be durable. The tongue of the shoe should cover the top of your foot and the laces have to be strong enough to stay tied so you don't slip on them while climbing the rocks.

The heel of the shoe should curve to your foot and it also provides so some height. The shoes required for rock climbing have to be tight shoes; there should not be anything that is loose on the shoe. The padding in the shoe should be comfortable, the shoe has to be sturdy enough to rock climb but comfortable enough to wear.
